You may know that I'm also a systematic consumer of popular music and its many semi-popular variants.  And every year I put together a playlist of the 50 or 60 tracks, released that year, that I like, and I share it with whoever will listen.   It comes in many forms, so you can choose how to listen and sample.  I'm talking track by track on my tumblr, but here I'll just list title and artist. You can download every song in a 513MB zip by right clicking here, but that's hard on the server, so a new thing I'm trying is this torrent file, which you should try first because you can probably pick and choose tracks with it, and you can help share it with others.  Tell me if you have trouble with that.
